What is the quickest and most effective way to contact the Glyde Customer Service Team

The fastest way to reach our team is by emailing us directly at support@glydefootwear.com. Our dedicated support team is available Monday through Saturday, 9AM–5PM EST, and we aim to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.

I've already sent an email - when will I get an answer?

We aim to respond to all customer emails within 24 hours (Monday to Friday, 9AM–5PM EST). If you’ve already reached out, rest assured — our team is on it and you’ll hear from us very soon!

Will I get a response faster if I write several emails?

No need to send multiple emails — we promise it won’t speed things up. In fact, it may slow things down by pushing your original message further down the queue. Sending one clear message is the best way to get a fast, helpful reply from our team.

I don't see a reply in my inbox - what now?

If it’s been more than 24 hours, please double-check your spam, junk, or promotions folder — sometimes our replies can end up there by mistake. Sizing

Im a half size, which size should i choose?

If you're a half size, we would highly recommend sizing down. 

Will my orthotics fit?

Absolutely! We want to make sure as many people as possible can enjoy dry socks, so if you wear orthotics you can swap our insoles for yours.

Do you have wide and narrow sizes?

At this time Glyde Shoes only come in standard widths. That said, we find that many wider sizes can find the right fit for them because of our stretchy and adaptable upper knit. So if you have wider feet, you can go with your true size. If you have narrower feet, we would recommend sizing down.

Is it possible to wear the barefoot shoes with socks?

Yes, that’s completely up to you! Of course, the basic idea behind the shoes, as the name suggests, is to wear them without socks - but you can also enjoy all the health benefits of barefoot shoes with socks on! The only thing that can be lessened by wearing socks is the feeling of being barefoot. Choose the variant that you feel most comfortable with and experiment according to your ideas.

Will they stretch?

Yes, Gkyde shoes will adapt to your foot to provide a personalized fit! If you feel they are a little snug intially, give it a couple of wears. You will notice a world of difference.

Do your shoes fit true to size?

For Glyde Haven - we recommend sizing down by one full size, as these styles run large

For our other styles - it's best to choose your true size. If you are between sizes, then size up by one full size, as these styles have a more snug fit.

Delivery & Shipping

Will I receive a confirmation for my order?

Of course. You will receive an order confirmation by email immediately after completing your order (after a few minutes). If you cannot find this in your inbox, we ask you to check your spam folder. One reason why you did not receive an order confirmation could be that you mistakenly provided us with an incorrect email address during the ordering process. In this case, we ask you to contact our customer support by email. We would be happy to change your email address for you later and send you your confirmation again to the correct email address.

I haven't received an order confirmation/shipping confirmation by email - what now?

If you have not received an order and/or shipping confirmation from us, you most likely accidentally gave us an incorrect email address during the ordering process. We always send updates about your order to the email address you provided during the ordering process. In this case, we ask you to contact our customer support by email. We would be happy to change your email address for you later and send you your order and/or shipping confirmation again to the correct email address.

I entered the wrong address or incorrect customer information when ordering - can this be corrected afterwards?

Please contact us immediately by email info@purestep.co.uk and let us know your correct delivery address or customer information. We would be happy to change customer information such as email address/telephone number for you at any time. This can also be done after shipping. As long as your package has not yet been shipped, you can We can easily change your address details afterwards and will do our best to do this as quickly as possible.Please inform us as soon as possible. The correct delivery address is crucial for successful, timely delivery from our shipping partners. For this reason, it is extremely important that we receive your correct, complete delivery address and can pass it on to our shipping partners in a timely manner. However, once the delivery has been dispatched, we can unfortunately no longer change delivery data as these have already been handed over to our shipping partners and these can no longer be changed by our shipping partners. We therefore strongly advise that you check all details/address details before completing your order to avoid any delays or problems with delivery.

I am not at home on the day of the announced delivery, is that a problem?

No, that's not a problem at all.Depending on the shipping service, you can inform the delivery service yourself via the delivery notification email that you either want delivery on a different day or issue a drop-off permit (if this does not already exist). Alternatively, you can also collect your goods from the parcel shop specified by the delivery service (if you are not there during the delivery attempt). To do this, you should be informed by the delivery service by mailbox and/or email that the item has been dropped off at the parcel shop.Please make sure to collect your package from the parcel shop within the specified period.

Where can I find the invoice? There was no invoice included with my package, was this forgotten?

Don't worry, we didn't forget to include your invoice in your package. For the sake of the environment, we have consciously decided not to include paper invoices in our packages. We want to contribute to environmental protection and reduce paper waste wherever possible. If you need your invoice, please feel free to contact us by email and we will send you your invoice in PDF form as quickly as possible.

Where will my package be shipped from?

Where your package is sent from depends on the current local availability of the products you ordered. As soon as you have placed your order, it will automatically be forwarded to our warehouse. We ship your orders prioritized from our main warehouse in the United States. If your desired item is not available in the main warehouse at the time you place your order due to high demand, your item will be shipped directly from our central warehouse to prevent waiting times and to be able to deliver your package to you as quickly as possible.

Can I track my order along the way?

 You will receive a tracking number assigned to your order in your shipping confirmation. You can easily track your package at any time using this tracking number.Important: After shipping, it usually takes 1-2 working days for your tracking information to be activated. We ask you to be patient if your tracking number does not work immediately.

How long does delivery take to me?

Once your order is placed, it takes 1–2 business days to process and prepare your items. After that, delivery to U.S. addresses typically takes 5–10 business days.

We ship directly from our international fulfillment center, and all orders are quality-checked before dispatch.

Please note: Shipping times may vary slightly during peak seasons like Black Friday or the holidays. We appreciate your patience during busy periods

Exchanges & Returns

How can I return my order?

If you are not satisfied, you can of course return your order/parts of it. Please note that we can only take back and refund unworn, clean, odorless goods in their original condition. Dirty, worn goods will not be refunded as they are no longer suitable for further sale. We ask for your understanding. If you would like to return, please inform us by email. We will send you all further information by email as quickly as possible. Please be sure to include the return slip with your return, which we will send to you by email upon request. This is used for quick return processing and ensures that we can assign your return to your order in the system.

Do you have a regional returns warehouse?

Our main warehouse is in China. We ship the majority of our orders from our main warehouse, accept returns and process them there.

What are the costs for a return?

Unfortunately, as a start-up, we are currently unable to cover the full cost of return shipping. In addition, out of consideration for our environment, we want to reduce delivery routes and keep return routes to a minimum. Thanks for your help.

How long can I redeem the credit I received?

Credits do not expire; you can redeem them whenever you want.

How long do I have to return my order?

You have 60 days from the order date, but no later than 14 days after receiving the goods, you have time to return your goods to us. Please make sure you use the correct return address! If the return is sent to an incorrect warehouse address, we cannot process it or refund any money.

I like the item, but I need a different size - can I simply exchange the shoes?

Of course. We would be happy to exchange your desired item(s) for you without any problem. Simply contact our customer support team and inform us about your request for an exchange. To process the exchange as quickly as possible, tell us your desired size/color directly.

Day To Day Care

Can I go into salt water or chlorinated water with the summer models?

Yes! Our summer barefoot models — like Glyde Aura — are built for adventure and hold up well in both saltwater and chlorinated water. They're designed for natural movement in all kinds of environments, including beaches, rivers, and pools. Just be sure to rinse them with fresh water after use to help preserve the materials and color — especially after saltwater or chlorinated exposure. Then let them air dry naturally (avoid direct heat or sunlight for extended periods).

They're the perfect companion for light wading, coastal walks, and summer escapes.

Can I walk through the snow with the winter models? Are the shoes waterproof?

Yes! All Glyde Footwear winter models are also ideal for use in the snow - in combination with the warm inner fur, you can enjoy your winter walks without getting freezing feet!

Can I do sports with barefoot shoes?

Our barefoot shoes can be used for almost all sports without any problems - the barefoot concept means your feet are not put under unhealthy strain and can therefore drastically minimize your risk of injury! Thanks to their breathable material, you can also prevent excessive sweating!

Are barefoot shoes suitable for the gym?

Yes absolutely! Thanks to the special sole and its advantages, you protect your joints enormously, especially when doing any leg exercises, which is particularly important when training with weights!

Is it possible to drive or cycle?

Yes! In accordance with the StVO, you can drive your car or bike without any problems. The non-slip sole of our barefoot shoes provides additional safety against slipping on all pedals. The most important thing on public roads is that you feel as comfortable as possible!

Can I go hiking with the barefoot slippers?

Our barefoot slippers are made for the barefoot experience at home - even on cold days! The slippers are not suitable for hiking.

Barefoot shoes - what's so special about them?

The special features of barefoot shoes compared to conventional leisure shoes are, on the one hand, as the name suggests, the unique barefoot feeling and the resulting even more intense connection with nature. On the other hand, barefoot shoes also have a very important health aspect, as the flexibility and the special sole can also relieve various foot, knee, back or joint pain.

What advantage does the famously thin sole have?

The thin sole means that many more muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments in your feet are trained than with normal shoes. As a result, the foot muscles are continually strengthened and a healthy, stable and natural gait is developed. The barefoot sole allows you to step gently on the middle and forefoot and prevents sudden rolling on the heel. This promotes dynamic movement and also protects the knee and hip joints.

Why is the shoe wider at the front than normal shoes?

Conventional shoes unnaturally constrict the front of the foot, which causes the foot muscles to become increasingly weak as the foot relies on the support function. Our Glyde barefoot shoes have a deliberately wide toe box to offer your toes the space they need, just as nature intended for our feet. This means that the foot muscles can be ideally strengthened in combination with the thin sole.

Are barefoot shoes suitable for hallux valgus?

Yes! The sufficiently wide area on the forefoot and the additionally flexible outer material are also ideal for hallux valgus to ensure a pain-free barefoot experience. AND NOT ONLY THAT: You not only prevent further pain, but you can even counteract hallux valgus by strengthening the foot muscles!

Do the shoes also help if your foot is misaligned?

The wide area in the forefoot gives your foot all the freedom it needs to increase the overall motor quality of your gait. Strengthening the muscles, tendons and ligaments through the additional advantages of the thin sole can also help with existing foot misalignments!

What type of pain or discomfort can barefoot shoes help with?

They can help with foot, knee, hip and back pain. Thanks to their thin sole, barefoot shoes aim for a dynamic walking movement over the middle and forefoot and thus avoid sudden rolling over the heel. This cushioning on the sole significantly protects the knee and hip joints and can therefore absorb pain in these areas. The wide toe box also ensures constant training of the foot muscles and improvement of motor skills in this area - this can, on the one hand, counteract foot pain and also activate a healthy, upright posture, which ultimately stabilizes and relieves the strain on the back. VERY IMPORTANT: If you have existing illnesses or are undergoing orthopedic treatment, the use of barefoot shoes should still be discussed with the treating orthopedist, physiotherapist or doctor before use!

Are the shoes also intended for people who don't have pain?

Naturally! The health benefits of barefoot shoes are perfect for not only preventing foot misalignment or pain, but generally promoting and maintaining your healthy, natural, upright gait!

Can you put other insoles in the shoe?

Of course. If you want to wear a different insole, your special orthopedic insole or even thick socks, we recommend ordering one size larger. In the accessories section of our website you can find our insoles specially made for Glyde barefoot shoes. 

Are barefoot shoes suitable for plantar fasciitis?

Yes! Barefoot shoes offer many benefits for plantar fasciitis as they strengthen the natural foot muscles and promote healthier foot movement.

They allow for improved blood circulation and help to optimize foot positioning as they do not have a raised heel. In the long term, these features can help improve foot support and develop a healthier walking style, which can help reduce the symptoms of plantar fasciitis.

Is my customer data safe?

All data on our website is fully secured thanks to SSL encryption. We treat all data with the utmost care and transmit it to our payment services in accordance with data protection law.

What payment methods do you offer?

We currently accept all major credit and debit cards for a safe and secure checkout.

I forgot to enter my discount code during the checkout process. Can this still be deducted after the order has been completed?

Unfortunately, once you have completed your order, we are no longer able to make any changes/deduct a discount for accounting reasons. Only delivery addresses can be changed by us subsequently before shipping. If your discount code is valid for longer, you are welcome to use it on your next order and enter it in the checkout.
